Make the time to go and vote!

We need to hear from you. Especially if you this election is stupid, a waste of money, etc. If you don't vote, the other side WILL win, and we'll all pay the price. So, please, all you non-radicals ;-) , go vote!

Wed. update: Thanks folks! I for one am honestly surprised and pleased... it's good to know that the 30% of uberconservatives don't have the power to win every time. Yea!!

According to NPR this morning, this is the most expensive election California has ever held. And it's mostly about the governator's special interests. When I went to my polling place this morning (around 8:30), only 45 people had voted.
The good news is that most everyone that I've spoken to, who says that they are voting, are voting against these appalling propositions.

Damned straight! Arnold... what an ultra-maroon! Then again, enough ultra-maroons voted to put his ass in office... God, is his term DONE yet!? I am SO fucking ready for a new governor.

Did one better

I served as a Precinct Inspector.

At my polling place: 358 ballots cast/carried in absentees. Total for the precinct is 1200 something. They only gave me 900 ballots (100 in Spanish).

Our results were: Yes: 73-77; No: 78-80.

I"m dead tired...off to bed.
