error code 2006

edited 1/26 to add resolution

Apparently I am not the first person to encounter the undocumented error code 2006 for google calendar sync. Many people have posted; no one from Google has responded.

There may be some profile links; I only have one profile. Am currently running Microsoft's .pst repair tool (after several minutes spent FINDING it on my computer; search didn't work). When the tool finishes, I have more to do. Reading it over, the what isn't very intuitive.

jimminy crickets.

time for my Feri practice. not sure I should take this mood traveling Under... feh. Maybe I should oil my boots after.

Am not pleased.

Solution, should any one else have the problem: Outlook wouldn't open, Google had no documentation. I used Microsoft's repair tool, scanpst (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497) on the outlook .pst file (once I found it, which was not easy), and that solved the problem; the tool repaired the .pst file. Fortunately, I didn't have to do the restore part of the process.

GreenPrint is now available for 64-bit machines.

yea! I really like (free for home use!) this program - you install it as your printer, and it automatically detects pages with just one or two lines, and let's you choose to print them or not, etc. Saves ink, paper, money, trees.

Sluggy??

Hey is it just me, or is Sluggy Freelance broken for everyone? It's been having sporadic display issues for some time, but now it seems stuck in broken. I can't see any comics, whether the current one, or in the archive. I'm using Firefox, and have also tried Internet Explorer.

Anyone know what's up? The display I get is very primitive, as if the frame/css is broken (not to mention the links, save for the ads ;-) ).

Wm Gibson is designing bags.

This review is most fannish. Great fun: http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/003714.php

Hella expensive bag tho. My curiosity is peaked about the rest of his line...

And I still haven't read *Pattern Recognition*. Bad fan!
