outlook contacts to iphone?

It's time to ask ya'll. I know I can get my google calendar to sync with the iphone. Is there a hack for getting my outlook contacts to sync? Apparently the new iphone will sync contacts with itunes... I don't want/need the full enterprise 'push' technology, I just want my contacts.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

You should have a built in option to sync you outlook contacts with the iphone.

Unfortunatly they the current rev of itune does not sync cal with any online service. The work arounds I've tried have not worked for me.

A functional work around for google calendar to iphone was posted on either lifehack or lifehacker last week. :-) I've been keeping an eye out for such, since I need a new phone.

Oh, Apple just replaced mac.com with http://www.mobileme.com/ service, since they're now syncing a whole stack of devices besides Macs.

That's the push subscription technology, isn't it?

yeah, I don't need/want that. Just the contacts. Sounds like I should be able to get them one way or another.

when you first actvated your iPhone thru your home computer there is an option to sync with outlook or yahoo etc to copy your contacts to your iPhone. Plug the iPhone to your computer and sign on to your apple account, you should then be able to tell it to sync outlook with your iPhone. I got my yahoo this way
