Sprung Spring!

Edit: Help! I can't make my f'ing picture show, and I'm not having any luck with LJ's 'help' to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can someone help? Thanks!

The cherry tree in my backyard is just beautiful right now. I took a few pictures. Considering the backdrop, they came out ok ;-) . I decided it's Friday and it's good to celebrate Spring, so take a look if you like.

Monday, bicycling... came across two young deer on the side of the path, who went bounding away (not sure they wanted to go down the steep slope to the stream!), and then a hummingbird had a successful lunch I think, dipping into the fine flowers on a big tree, next to which I stood at my stretching break. Very cool. First hummingbird siting in a long time.

I've also planted some pansy seeds. Some of each color (blue and black) have sprouted, indoors. None of the outdoor ones have yet. The weekend is supposed to be warm... if there's no sprouting by Monday, I'll move another tray indoors. Somewhere. And I have other seeds to sprout as well. - oh also planted assorted lettuce seeds, will sow more maybe next week.

Check the permissions and location of the photo.

Unsorted are by default private and don't even generate a "not authorized", but return a 404. Which is what I'm seeing.

I recomend you move the photo to a another public gallery and make sure the photo itself is set for public.

ok, thanks, I kinda know that... I messed around, realized that the photo needed to 'be' somewhere, so I created a gallery and uploaded the picture into it (thinking then I could relink it), but I can't even actually see the photo in the gallery (which is called 'Lance's Stuff' if you want to look). Are there rules about pictures I need to know? It's not huge, but it's not tiny either. It is a .jpg file (which I composed in Illustrator from Photoshop files).

thanks for your help.
