Play with Lugh today!

I flip the calendar to August and there is the sun! Celebrate the first harvest today, and abundance, and know we turn towards winter. I am happy to greet Lugh, the long-spear, fair and tall... I am new to the idea of trickster connotations around him, I'll have to see how that fits into the stories I know!

the wold has been giving me musical cues the last couple days! It can happen any time, think of something, hear the perfect song, but it's been happening a lot! Simple as 'You can go your own way' as I flip to a story about Fleetwood Mac and that classic Rolling Stone cover, to the Depeche Mode song 'Insight' with lyrics about giving love as I contemplate changes in my life... to 'walk in fields of gold' as I thought of Lughnasa this morning. Crazy, and I like it. :-)

I just found out a new Joan Jett album is out. Yeah I have my old-fashioned moments. So thank goodness does Joan Jett. LOL

Simple stuff can make me very happy. :-)
