The content filters MIS uses at work are wonky, to say the least. Hence, I've had a long-time hunt for a convenient/possible way to browse the web anonymously. I found one that was usable, but highly inconvenient. A coworker who shares the same goal just pointed me to a fine solution. Firefox has an extension called Anonymouser. Add it, restart Firefox, and you're good to go. When you right click on a link to select how/where to open it, an 'open with Anonymouser' choice is now available. Voila, a new tab (or window) opens, fed through Anonymouser, and you get to see your page. An ad also pops up, but there is a script to remove that (which I haven't done yet).

One of the web comics I like, Dork Tower, is blocked by MIS. Anonymouser doesn't work on bookmarks. I can just do a search and open the link that way!

The other spiffy add on is to Gmail. It's the GTDmail add on (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3209/). It adds David Allen Getting Things Done organizational-style tools to Gmail. This was a system I was just getting curious about and voila, the add-on appears! Too cool. Anyhow, I'm using it, and it rocks. My email inbox is down to less than one screen, and now all the stuff I have to do/ am waiting on/projects/ where to do them/ etc is all a single mouse click away. It really does free up mental space and background stress. whoo hoo!

People with B type blood are shy, calm, clear-headed smart and quiet. You have a few very close friends, but overall, you prefer to be alone. You are definitely shy but loving and caring.
