there has been an explosion of bugs
Mar. 5th, 2007 04:56 pmon the trail, people too. I have to fight the urge to feel 'superior' to those who only walk/bike/whatever when it gets really nice out. Look, there's my ego! :-)
The bugs bounce off my nose and cheekbones, tickle the edges of my mustache, crash into the corners of my eyes. Pretty sure they do that one on purpose, though there's plenty of water out in more inviting (I presume) places. !
Lots of mustard blooming. Hawks circle the corporate building. I miss my walking buddy, who returned for four hours today before flying off elsewhere on a business trip.
I wanna go visit a nursery! I lost a number of plants to the freeze, including, I think, my last bonsai; a lovely little Japanese maple, nearly a decade old. I should think more precisely about the effects I want to create, veggies I want to eat, etc.
