I don't entirely agree with all of her summaries (in particular around *Steel Beach*; yes Varley is limited here - if still a pleasure - One thing I have learned by being around trans people is that for about half of them, orientation is the deciding factor, not 'personality'; we are extremely diverse, like everyone else), but it's a great list, thoughtfully and informatively written, and has books on it I haven't read yet, which is awesome. :-) New reading material!
