Copy this sentence into your journal if you used to be in a heterosexual marriage, but you're not anymore because your marriage was whack, yet even after all that, the idea of same-sex marriage being a threat to your whack-ass heterosexual marriage is the biggest bunch of shit you ever heard.

I used to be in an opposite sex marriage. Prop. 8 would not have helped it. Prop 8 would, in fact, make me much less happy and much less likely to marry again.

Heck, if you're in a hetero marriage now, but don't feel threatened by marriage equality, you could modify this a bit and post that. :-)
