power strips
Jan. 5th, 2011 11:35 ampassing along info... don't know about you, but I have 800 power strips at home. This is forwarded from the USGS. ...the pictures aren't actually attached. Just envision a completely black and melted office. The power strip is one of the common older long (6 three-prong receptacles) beige strips with a rocker at one end.

GSA reported that there have now been three fire incidents with the following power strips:
EFI model P-50ES
Due to the seriousness of this issue, we are asking each agency to inspect all power strips in use within your offices and work spaces. Remove and replace any of this make and model that you find.
